Uranium Business
October 23, 2020Canadian company Uranium One Possessed uranium mines in the USA and Kazakhstan. Uranium One’s mines account for 20% of the ore mined from the USA. Uranium is used for nuclear weapons, and it’s thought to be a strategic asset to the US. Russia’s state possessed nuclear agency, Rosatom, purchased a 17% stake in Uranium One in June 2009. The Russian nuclear agency decided it wanted to have 51% of Uranium One in June 2010. To take a vast majority stake in Uranium needed approval from a particular committee that comprised this State Department, which Hillary Clinton directed at that time.
Nuclear as a solution to energy crisis
Investors in Uranium One gave cash to the Clinton Foundation starting in 2005 and through 2011. On June 29, 2010, Bill Clinton had been paid $500, 000 to speak in Russia with an investment bank with ties to Russia’s authorities which needed a buy rating on Uranium One’s inventory. In January 2013, despite assurances to the contrary, a subsidiary of Rosatom took over 100% of the Business and delisted it in the Toronto Stock Exchange. Clinton was required to disclose all her foundation’s subscribers before she became secretary of state, but the Clintons didn’t disclose millions of dollars given by the chairman of Uranium One whilst the review of the deal was continuing.
Big politics involved
Uranium One’s chairman used his family foundations to make four donations totaling $2.35 million, The Times reports. Those contributions weren’t Publicly disclosed by the Clintons, despite an arrangement Mrs. Clinton had struck with the Barack Obama White House to publicly identify all donors. Other people with ties to the company made donations as well”.The Times revelations seem to have originated in reporting in Clinton Cash, a forthcoming book with conservative writer Peter Schweizer, that had been provided to this newspaper for advance reporting. The report said The Times scrutinized his information and built upon it with its own reporting”.The Clinton campaign and its allies have aggressively rejected the book as partisan conspiracy mongering. In a statement to The Times, Clinton spokesman Brian Fallon said this State Department was just one of multiple US government agencies that approved the transaction.” Has produced a shred of evidence supporting this theory that Hillary Clinton ever took actions as secretary of state to support this interests of donors to the Clinton Foundation, Fallon to the Times.
